General
  1. Lunchtime Activities begin this week. Monday, Thursday, and Friday will be open gym badminton. Come show off your skills and bring your ID. Wednesdays will be open gym basketball. Come hoop it up.
  2. Would you like to have my job?  If you would like to be an announcer for the Daily Bulletin, come to the gym lobby this Friday at lunch for an audition.  Bring a joke!
  3. The AHS Cheerleaders will be performing a halftime routine on Saturday 12, 2015, 2:00 pm at Cal Berkeley for SPIRIT DAY with UCA & UCD!  The game is Cal Bears vs San Diego State at Memorial Stadium.  If you are interested in attending, spectator tickets can be purchased by visiting www.calbears.com/code and using Promo Code:  UCACHEER or by calling the Ticket Office at 800-GO-BEARS giving the above Promo Code. Cost per ticket is $20.00.
College and Career
  1. The AHS Counseling Department will host our annual College Application Information Night on Wednesday, September 9, at 7:00 in the Little Theater. This is an informational event for 4 year college bound seniors and their families. Learn about eligibility and requirements, application tips and procedures for UC, CSU, private and out of state universities, resources for researching and managing college applications, and the process for requesting letters of recommendation from AHS faculty and counselors. This is a can't miss event for all seniors planning to apply to four year colleges this year.
Clubs and Teams
  1. Mountain Bike Club    Thursday    Lunch    Rm 313   All returning racers must attend and interested new riders are welcome.
  2. Are you interested in dissecting things, doing fun labs or going on exciting field trips?  If yes, then the biology club is perfect for you.  Come to the first meeting on Thursday at lunch in Rm 306.  There will be ice cream!!
  3. Fashion Club’s mission is to create a non-judgmental and expressive environment.  We support our members’ psychological and social well-being.  Here in Fashion Club we will use the outward expression of fashion to depict our inner identities.  During club rush we would like to have a fashion show but we need more models.  If anyone is interested in modeling their favorite outfits Fashion Club welcomes you to join!  Our first meeting is today in Memorial Park during lunch.
