Freshmen and seniors will not be taking any tests and only need to arrive when regular classes start.

General
  1. 10th Graders: Do you intend to enroll in English 3 Honors next year? Be sure to attend the mandatory informational sessions the weeks of May 23 and May 30. You must go to one of the two meetings for each week on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school. At the sessions, we will go over the skills and competencies you will need to complete the summer reading work and be prepared for the start of next year. You should have received an email providing more details about these mandatory informational sessions. Feel free to contact Ms. Green, Mr. Dennis, or Mr. Rusich if you have any questions.
  2. Attention all students who have signed up to take AP Comparative Government and World Religions next year. There will be mandatory meetings to distribute the summer reading and assignments on Thursday, May 26 and Friday, May 27 at lunch in Room 207. If you cannot come to one of these meetings, please see Mr. James. If you do not come to one of these meetings, and do not make alternative arrangements with Mr. James, you will be dropped from AP Comparative Government/World Religions.
  3. Come hear the sweet sound of Jazz and R&B at Ashkenaz, Berkeley on Sunday, May 29, at 7 pm, featuring Albany High School's Rhythm Bound, Jazz Lab and Jazz Band ensembles. Tickets are $15. Buy tickets from a student in any of these bands or book online at www.ashkenaz.com.
  4. Juniors and Seniors, please check your school email for a google form. If you would like to request music for prom, please fill out the form before Wednesday. Only clean songs will be accepted.
  5. Don't miss the Dance Department's Spring Dance Concert Thursday at 7:00 pm and Friday at 6:00 pm and 8:15 pm in the Little Theater! Tickets are $3 for students and $5 for adults and are available now at brownpapertickets.com

  1. ​Seniors we need to know about all the amazing scholarships you have won for senior awards by MAY 25th. Please stop by the counseling office and let Ms. Burns or Ms. Drake know!

  1. AHS Cheer Tryouts! Get Cheer Tryout Packets in Main Office ASAP if you haven't already! REMINDER: HAVE TEACHER'S TURN IN RECOMMENDATION FORMS BY FRIDAY MAY 20TH! Cheer Clinic begins Monday 5/23-Thursday 5/25 where you will learn 2 cheers and 1 routine! Friday 5/26 will be Tryouts performing the cheers and routine you learned! We will meet at Cougar Field from 4-5:30 pm. (If it rains in the AHS Gym Foyer}
