Freshmen and seniors will not be taking any tests and only need to arrive when regular classes start.

General
  1. Congratulations to the Varsity baseball team on their victory over El Cerrito yesterday! Cooper Morrison hit a walk off home run with 2 outs to win the game in the bottom of the 7th inning! Congratulations, guys! The Varsity baseball team will travel to College of Alameda today to take on St. Joe’s for the TCAL Championship. Game time is 4:00pm. Hope to see you there!
  2. ALL library books are now due. If you need your library books for more time, you MUST make arrangements with Ms. Oremland for an extension in order to avoid fines. Bring those library books in, people!
  3. Extra garbage cans will be placed in the halls next week for locker cleanup. 9th - 11th graders may keep their assigned lockers for next year. Seniors must empty their lockers by Thursday, June 9. You may keep your lock or leave it on the empty locker for reuse.
  4. 10th Graders: Do you intend to enroll in English 3 Honors next year? Be sure to attend the mandatory informational sessions the weeks of May 23 and May 30. You must go to one of the two meetings for each week on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school. At the sessions, we will go over the skills and competencies you will need to complete the summer reading work and be prepared for the start of next year. You should have received an email providing more details about these mandatory informational sessions. Feel free to contact Ms. Green, Mr. Dennis, or Mr. Rusich if you have any questions.
  5. All students signed up for AP Art History for next year come to Rm 215 (Ms. DeHart) at the beginning of lunch time Tuesday, 5/31 for summer work.
  6. Congratulations to the 2016 Lunchtime IM Softball CHAMPIONS, #1 seed, The Lightening Scorpions, who finished the tournament with a perfect 6-0 winning record. Great job! Thank you to all those teams who participated.
  7. Key Club is having a boba sale after school today! They are only $4 so be sure to come.

  9. Don't miss the Dance Department's Spring Dance Concert tonight at 7:00 pm and tomorrow at 6:00 pm and 8:15 pm in the Little Theater! Tickets are $3 for students and $5 for adults and are available at brownpapertickets.com

  1. ​Seniors we need to know about all the amazing scholarships you have won for senior awards by MAY 25th. Please stop by the counseling office and let Ms. Burns or Ms. Drake know!
  2. Seniors, if you would like to be a speaker-at-large for graduation, a draft of your speech is due to Ms. Benau by Monday, May 23.

  3. AHS Cheer Tryouts! Packets are in the Main Office. Cheer Clinic begins Monday 5/23-Thursday 5/25. Friday 5/26 will be tryouts at Cougar Field from 4-5:30 pm. (If it rains in the AHS Gym Foyer)
