Block A Schedule

  1. Do you like sweets? Do you like treats? Then come to the bake sale for good eats! Choir bake sale tomorrow after school! 
  2. Homecoming Movie Night next Thursday (10/18) at Albany High School's Little Theater! Come sing along to the classic tunes of Disney's Hercules! Family and friends are encouraged to come and refreshments will be available! Only a few bucks for a fun night with friends! 
  3. Come support the women’s tennis team vs. St. Patrick's at Memorial courts.
  4. Close-up meeting Thursday at lunch in Rm M3.  Please bring your lunch.
  5. Powder puff prelims will be held this week.  Wednesday, 10/10, will be freshmen vs. juniors.  Thursday will be sophomores vs. seniors.  Come support your class during lunch in the gym!
  6. Technovation is back! If you are a girl interested in technology, business, or design... Technovation is for you. This program will teach you how to develop an app for the Android market.  All girls interested in joining Technovation this year, please come to a meeting at lunch  today in Mr. Morris's room, 310. Talk to Mr. Morris or Ms. Oremland for more information.
  7. T-shirts, sweatshirts and spirit items will be for sale on today in the main lobby during lunch. 
  8. PSAT registration is still open! $25 in the bookroom at lunchtime only.
  1. Please join the Albany High Counselors for our annual College Night on Wednesday, October 10 from 7:30-9:25pm in the AHS Theater. Learn about the college admissions process from reps from California public university systems and private schools. The evening is primarily for AHS Seniors, Juniors and their families, but all are welcome to attend.
Club/Team Announcements
  1. Come to the Service Club’s first meeting this Thursday during lunch in Mr. Purdom’s room (Rm 214).   Learn how we can make a difference in the world and be that active change we want to see in our communities!
  2. Short Tennis Club meeting in Rm 110 at lunch today.  Food will NOT be provided.
  3. Game Design Club meets Thursday at lunch in Rm 213.  We’ll be discussing gameplay mechanics, storyline ideas and looking at RPG game engines.
  4. Model UN -- Wednesday at lunch in Rm. 207
  5. Attention students:  Is your bike in need of a tune-up, fixed tire or new brakes?  If so, bring it to the courtyard today at lunch or after school for free bike repairs courtesy of the bike-mobile.
