Block B Assembly Schedule

  1. Mini-Grant applications are available at the office.  Applications are due on October 29th!  You can also download it from the website.
  2. Attention Students: Starting today there will be a NEW Counselor Caseload breakdown.  The new assignments as follows:
    • Mrs. Aselstine         A – Cou
    • Ms. Burns               Cr - Ku
    • Mrs. Grogans         Kw - Robi
    • Ms. Drake               Robl- Z
  3. Please Note: Seniors whose colleges/universities require letters of recommendations, your original counselor will remain the same for the purpose of writing your letter.
  4. Homecoming Dance is this Friday from 8:00 to 11:00.  Tickets can be purchased after school today and Friday and at lunch on Friday in the bookroom.  Students must have a signed dance agreement to purchase a ticket.  Guest applications are due by Thursday at 4:00pm to Ms. Benau.
  5. Students who will be 18 by Election Day may register to vote.  Forms are available in the Main Office.  Registration requests must be received by the Alameda County Registrar’s Office before 10/22.
  1. Seniors, do you have questions about how you to pay for college? Then don't miss Financial Aid Night  on  Wednesday October 24th from 7pm to 8:30pm in the Little Theater.  Please download the materials for the evening prior to coming to the event. You can find the information on the Counseling tab of the AHS website, in the College Planning section.  
Club/Team Announcements
  1. Women's Soccer program informational meeting:  Are you interested in being a part of the women's soccer program?  Meet the head coach and get information regarding tryouts and the upcoming winter season.  New and returning players welcome.  Thursday October 25 at 12:55 in room 217.
  2. There will be an informational meeting regarding fall baseball in Rm 315 during lunch on Monday.  All who are interested in playing some fall baseball should attend.
  3. All girls interested in Technovation should submit their applications to Mr. Morris or Ms. Oremland by Friday October 26th. Applications are still available in the library or room 310.
