Block B Schedule

  1. Attn Seniors:  Favorite packets and senior signatures are due by Friday, December 7 to Kaitlyn Endo, Whitney Tamaki, Caley Keene, Nelia Leemans, Frances Collins or Ms. Chiarella.  Senior signatures must be done in a black Sharpie or ball point pen or they will not be accepted.
  2. If you are in Technovation you need to come to a mandatory meeting this Friday at lunch in room 310. Please contact Mr Morris or Ms Oremland if you cannot make the meeting.
  3. Senior Panoramic pictures will be taken this Friday during advisory. Order forms are available in the Attendance Office.
  4. This Saturday Albany Education Foundation hosts its annual shopping day at the El Cerrito Plaza Barnes & Noble.  10 - 25% of what you spend will be donated to AEF.  All proceeds from this day are used by AEF to purchase books requested by site librarians.   The volunteers will also be able to assist you with teacher “Wish Lists" if you would like to donate.  If you can't make it to El Cerrito Plaza, go to and shop.  When it comes time for payment, scroll down to the very bottom, and choose  " Check the box if this is a Bookfair order"   Enter the Bookfair ID# 10730711     For more information, or if you are able to spend a couple of hours on Saturday helping with this event, please contact Marsha Skinner at 526-1154   or
  5. Sign up anytime for The AHS Blood Drive happening Dec. 4.  Sign-up sheet & permission forms will be in the Attendance Office.  If you are 17 or older you can sign up.  If you are 16 you need to complete a parent permission form.
  6. Come to AHS’s Fashions Night Out on Friday, 11/30, at 4:30pm.  We feature a fashion show, dance acts, food booths, fashion contest and door prizes.  Door prizes include local restaurant gift cards, bookstore gift cards, jewelry and more!  Discount tickets are sold at the bookroom window this week during lunch.
Club/Team Announcements
  1. Comix Club meets on Thursday at lunch in the library.
  2. Tea Club meeting today during lunch with Oolong tea and jelly in Rm 208.  All are welcome.
  3. Model UN -- today at lunch in Rm. 207. All those interested in attending the Berkeley Model UN Conference next March should come to the meeting. New members are welcome, no experience necessary.  
  4. The Ocean Protection Club will meet today at lunch in Rm 304.  We will discuss battery recycling and there is pie.
  5. Game Design Club this Thursday at lunch in Rm 213.  We’ll be working on the storyline and the world map.
