International Food Day Schedule

General
  1. Today’s Schedule:  International Food Day Assembly

  2. Students who signed up to participate in International Food Day must go to Advisory to check in and then meet in the courtyard to set up.  Teachers will have a list with your names so they know you can be released. 
  3. Bring your books in for Children’s Hospital Book Drive.  Place them in the box at the atrium.  We accept books that are both new and old, picture and chapter, fiction and nonfiction.  They will be given to the patients at the hospital.  Nothing torn or damaged please!
  4. Nine little soldier boys sat up very late.  One overslept himself and then there were eight. Come to AHS Theater Ensemble’s production of “And Then There Were None” to hear the rest of this rhyme.  Shows are March 29, 30 & 31 and April 5, 6 & 7. Friday and Saturday shows are at 8:00 and Sunday shows are at 5:00.  Tickets are $7 for students.  See you there!
  5. The library will be CLOSED periods 2,3,4,5 and 6 today and Friday for Debates but open at break and lunch.
  6. The third review session for the AP Comparative Government exam will be held this evening at 7 pm in Room 207. 
  7. The spring blood drive is on Monday, April 8.  Students 16 and older are eligible to donate blood. Sign up lists and further information are in the attendance office.
College and Career
  1. Attention Juniors: Do you want to know what it takes to get into UC Berkeley? If so, come to the Counseling Office THIS FRIDAY during lunch to talk with former Albany High School graduates and current UC Berkeley students. Don’t miss this opportunity to get your questions answered by your very own Albany High alums.
  2. Seniors: A Berkeley City College representative will be here on Thursday April 4th at lunch in the Little Theater.  Come learn about how to register for community college, placement tests and getting set for next Fall.
Clubs and Teams
  1. The Model UN Cub will meet today, March 27 at lunch in Room 207.  All students interested in attending the UC Davis Model UN Conference in May should attend the meeting.  The last day to sign up for the Davis Conference is next Monday, April 1.
  2. Game Design Meeting this Thursday at lunch in Rm 213.
  3. International Food Day – if you are bringing food please be sure you have appropriate serving utensils.  If you need food heated up, please see Chef Clell first thing this morning.
Faculty
  1. Please excuse the Men's Tennis Team at 2:15 on Wed. 3/27 for an away match against St. Joseph's High School.
