General
  1. Student Planners can be purchased for $5 at the book room during lunch today.  There are only a few left, so buy yours now.
  2. Lockers will be issued to freshmen and students new to AHS on Wednesday, September 4, and Thursday, September 5. Students with last names beginning N-Z may come to the book room window at lunch on Wednesday; names beginning A-M may come on Thursday. Students must share lockers with a partner. Locks are $5. Continuing students may come to the book room window on Friday, September 6 to get new lockers or change lockers.
  3. If you checked out a summer math book, please return ASAP to Ms. Buck-Bauer in room 312.  Thanks!
  4. If you want to request a schedule change, you must fill out a petition.  Petitions are available in the main office and they must be turned in at the main office today by 3:00pm.  Please be aware that most classes are full and there are very limited possibilities for a schedule change
  5. If you would like to go to the library for Advisory, make sure to get an Advisory pass from Ms. Oremland ahead of time, either after school the day before Advisory or before school the day of Advisory.
  6. If you borrowed AHS library books for the summer you need to return or renew them now. 
  7. If you wish to put an announcement in the daily bulletin, your request should be turned in at the main office by 2:30 the day before you would like it to run.  Announcements must be signed by your faculty advisor.
Clubs/Teams:
  1. The year’s first meeting of the Model UN Club will be held at lunch on Wednesday, Sept. 4, in Rm 207.
  2. Freshman and Sophomore boys interested in playing basketball this winter: There will be an informational meeting at 6:30 pm on Wednesday (September 4) in the gym.
