  • Tomorrow is Cougar Pride Day! Show your Cougar Pride by wearing any AHS t-shirt or sweatshirt. If you don't have any AHS gear yet, wear red and white. Show your true Cougar colors tomorrow! Go ALB! 
  • Student Planners can be purchased for $5 at the book room during lunch today and Friday. There are only a few left, so buy yours now.
  • Lockers will be issued to freshmen and students new to AHS on Wednesday, Sep. 4, and Thursday, September 5. Students with last names beginning N-Z may come to the book room window at lunch on Wednesday; last names beginning A-M may come on Thursday. Students must share lockers with a partner. Locks are $5. Continuing students may come to the book room window on Friday, September 6, to get new lockers or change lockers.
  • This week the VENTURE store is open after school on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and during lunch on Thursday. We have the school supplies that you need and some cool hats, t-shirts, jewelry too! We are the only store in town managed and staffed by Albany Students -- come check us out in the Gym Lobby.
  • If you checked out a summer math book, please return it ASAP to Ms. Buck-Bauer in room 312. Thanks!
  • If you want to request a schedule change, you must fill out a petition. Petitions are available in the main office. The petitions must be returned to the main office by Friday, August 30th, by 3:00pm. Please be aware that most classes are full and there are very limited possibilities for a schedule change. Don’t forget the deadline for turning in a petition is Friday, August 30th, by 3:00pm.
  • If you would like to go to the library for Advisory, make sure to get an Advisory pass from Ms. Oremland ahead of time, either after school the day before Advisory or before school the day of Advisory.
  • If you borrowed AHS library books for the summer you need to return or renew them now. 
  • All the Albany High folders have been given away.
  • If you wish to put an announcement in the Daily Bulletin, your request should be turned in at the main office by 2:30 the day before you would like it to run. Announcements must be signed by your faculty advisor.
  • The year’s first meeting of the Model UN Club will be held at lunch on Wednesday, Sept. 4, in Rm 207.
