Block B Schedule

General
  1. Next week’s bell schedules:
    • Monday – Block B

  2. Current 9th-11th grade students: are you interested in taking a community college course this summer? Then please attend the informational meeting in the Little Theater Wednesday April 10th at lunch. Counselors will be going over what forms you need to fill out and answering any questions you may have.
  3. Children’s Hospital is hosting a book drive at our school until Wednesday, April 10.  We welcome both new or old books – place them in the box in the atrium.  Donated books will be directly given to the patients at the hospital.
  4. Be a lifesaver! Give blood on Monday, April 8. Sign up in the attendance office.
  5. “One little soldier boy left all alone.  He went and hanged himself and then there were none.”  The final shows of AHS Theater Ensemble’s production of “And Then There Were None" are this Friday and Saturday at 8:00 and Sunday at 5:00!  Tickets are $7 for students.  Final chance on this closing weekend!
Clubs and Teams
  1. Test Prep Club will hold an ACT Introduction workshop in Rm 301 today at lunch.  We will be explaining the test and scoring format and will also hand out a few practice problems.  Not taking the ACT?  We have a wide variety of prep books free for anybody to borrow!  Books we have available for check out include SAT, ACT, AP Bio, AP Chem, AP Physics and more.  Just ask Ms. Risk in Rm 301.
  2. Attention interested cheerleaders - Cheer Tryouts for 2013-14 begin Monday April 8th at 3:30 in the Multipurpose Room. Get your tryout packet online in the cheerleading section of the Athletics Department or in the main office.
Faculty 
  1. Please release the softball team at 10:40AM and good luck as they attend the HASA Tournament in Antioch!
