  1. Juniors and Seniors: check your email for information about signing up to help with Freshman Debates! Deadline to fill out form is this Saturday!
  2. Spring and Shout and let it all out! AHS Spring Dance will be on March 17th in Memorial Hall from 6pm – 10pm. Tickets will be sold at lunch in the main atrium from the 13th-16th for $15. Prices go up at the door! Don’t forget to pick up a dance agreement at the leadership board!
  3. Are you interested in taking Dance 2 for PE 2 or Fine Art credit? Come to auditions Wednesday after school in the Multipurpose room! See posted flyers or contact Mrs. Baker for more details!
  4. AHS Theatre Ensemble presents Once Upon A Mattress! Come see a villainous, overdramatic & swampy version of the princess & the pea this week on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! Tickets are $10 for students and teachers, $15 for adults.
  5. Interested in watching short films by both local and international filmmakers, including your very own AHS school peers? Join us for the 7thannual Albany Filmfest on Solano on March 26th at the Albany Twin Theatre! You can purchase tickets for $8.50 per show or all day pass from 10am to 10pm shows.
College and Career
  1. Attention Seniors! The Local Scholarship Application is now available in the counseling office. Please pick up your copy and return the compled application to Ms. Durell no later than Friday, March 31st.
  2. The second review session for the 2017 AP Comparative Gov’t exam will be held at 7pm on Monday evening, March 13, in Room 207.
  3. Hey Cougars! We are in the final stretch of the 2016-17 Graduate for Mas Challenge…Be sure to go to and complete the Round 2 Graduate for Mas Badge. You’ll not only help AHS earn a $500 grant, you’ll get insight into how your attendance impacts your life as well as tips & tricks for completing high school with ease. Show your completed badge to Ms. Parrott to get a token of appreciation for your efforts.
Clubs and Teams
  1. Best Buddies Bowling Trip today. We meet in Room 219 after school.
  2. Prospective Club will meet at lunch in Room 209.
  3. Unicef club will meet in Room 211 at Lunch on Friday. We will be discussing world water month.
