data storage techniques
to store and retrieve data in text files, xml-formatted files and normalized
relational database structures.
Computer Science Standards 2.0, NETS Standards 4.0) Students write code using
common programming constructs and techniques including: method calling,
iteration, recursion, sequential processing, and conditional statements.

Interface Design and Implementation (NETS Standards 3.0) Students
design and implement simple and efficient graphical user interfaces
that consider the needs of potential users while meeting the demands
of the application.
- WD4: Software Engineering
Team Techniques (NETS Standards 1.0, 2.0, 6.0) Students
configure and use build systems, code repositories, project management tools as
well as deployment and testing tool.
- WD5: Program Analysis and
Computer Science Standards 3.0) Students
develop a full-range of tests including integration testing, unit testing,
and use-case testing to ensure quality software.

Computer Science Standards 6.0, NETS Standards 5.0) Students discuss and understand issues related to
responsible and ethical use of the World Wide Web, networks and web
applications in particular.
