- Alg21: Students will solve, graph, expand and condense, and apply in real world context logarithmic and exponential equations and expressions.
- Alg22: Student will perform basic arithmetic operations on rational expressions, apply these skills to solve rational equations, including rational quotients, and use these problem-solving strategies to solve real-world applications.
__ALG23:__Students will identify and graph the standard form and the general form for the equations of the conic sections: circle, parabola, ellipse and hyperbola. Students analyze and identify the components related to each individual graph and equation for each conic section. Students compare and contrast the algebraic representation for each conic section.__ALG24:__Student will distinguish between arithmetic sequences, geometry sequences, and infinite series; locate the general term of a sequence or series; read and represent series in summation notation; and calculate the sum of various types of sequences and series.__ALG25:__Students will calculate permutations, combinations based upon the fundamental counting theorem; apply these concepts to Pascal’s Triangle and the Binomal Theroem to expand polynomials; compute probability and odds in real world situations; calculate the probability of simple and compound event; and identify statistical concepts of independent and dependent events along with graphical representations.- ALG26: Students will perform arithmetic operations on polynomials; factor expressions and solve polynomial equations using various methods including quadratic formula and synthetic substitution over the set of complex numbers; identify zeros of a polynomial equation analytically and graphically
__ALG27:__Students will recall right angle relationships of sine, cosine, and tangent based upon Pythagorean Theorem; develop similar trigonometric ratios based upon unit circle; solve for a missing side or angle of a triangle based upon Law of Sines and Law of Cosines; and compute area of triangle based upon trigonometric ratios.
