Block A Schedule

General

  • Friday, October 13th No School – Professional Development Day
  • The PSAT is at Albany High School  this Saturday from 8 am to noon. Classroom lists will be posted in the lobby.  Please arrive a few minutes early and bring your student ID, approved calculator and two sharpened number two pencils. If possible, leave your phone at home.
  • Senior Portrait retakes will be held in the library on Monday, October 16- Wednesday, October 18. This is the Last Chance for portraits on campus. Please see the attendance office or Ms. Radford in 206 if you are uncertain of your scheduled appointment.

College and Career

  • In today's college visit line-up we have: St. Mary's College, University of Toronto and Dominican University. See the whiteboard for details. Next week Lawrence, Linfield, Simmons, UCSD, Cornell, New School, Boston, Ithaca and Chicago will be on campus. Sign-up and see details in Naviance. 
  • This Saturday, join the East Bay Consortium during their 40th Annual College Information Day at UC Berkeley at 8:30am. For more details visit eastbayconsortium.org. 
  • Are you a leader in your community? Do you believe that knowledge is power? If so, you should attend the Civic Pride Leadership Conference. Register online by October 16th at civicpride.net.

Clubs and Teams

  • Online winter sports registration will take place from Oct. 1 at 8am – Nov. 2 at 3pm. If you already played a sport this year, you still need to update your athletic registration for the sport you’d like to play. Don’t forget to upload your medical form to your online account.   • One Heart Christian Club is meeting this Thursday in Room 211 during lunch, see you there!
  • Check out Bring Change to Minds Club’s poster in the atrium regarding national mental illness awareness week and respond to the prompt.
