The Scholarship File is located in the counseling office. The Scholarship File is maintained for those scholarships that have applications that cannot be obtained through a website. Please take an application only if you have verified that you meet the qualifications and are certain that you will complete the process. If you have questions regarding any scholarships, ask Mrs. Durell. You must be the initiator to pick up applications and follow through. Deadlines change from year to year, so watch for important dates. Continue to check the Scholarship listings for new scholarships.

The Redefining Ready! National Scholarship 2017 May 22, 2017 There are various ways to qualify, please check out the website to get more information! $1,000-$5,000 The Redefining Ready! National Scholarship 2017 lets America's graduating seniors tell the world how they are college, career and life ready beyond a single test score. Examples include completion of an internship, AP or dual credit classes while in high school; near-perfect attendance; or participation in clubs, sports and school activities. Live Más Scholarship May 12, 2017 The Live Más Scholarship is not based on your grades or how well you play sports. No essays, no test scores, no right or wrong answers. We’re looking for the next generation of innovators, creators and dreamers – whose post-high school education we will help fund. The Taco Bell Foundation will award $1 million to 100 young adults in 2017. Range Applicants will need to create and submit a video (2 minutes or less in length) that tells us the story of your life’s passion. Robert T. Nahas Scholarship Awards April 30, 2017 Senior with minimum 3.0 GPA graduating from an Alameda Co. high school. Applicant must have competed in a competitive sports program and have a record of community service/involvement for at least two years. U.S. citizen/native born student who will attend a four-year college or university. Beach Blanket Babylon Scholarship for the Arts  April 28, 2017 Audtion in either voice, acting or dance- All applicants must be legal residents of the United States or one of its official territories. • Students must be seniors enrolled at a High School or home schooled within 100 miles of Club Fugazi in San Francisco. • Students must include a completed entry form along with a recording of their performance (see Submission Guidelines below). • Scholarships are awarded based on talent. Grades and financial needs are not factors. • Scholarship awards are contingent upon proof of enrollment at an accredited post-secondary institution. Joseph & Dorothy Villa Rotary Scholarship April 28, 2017 Emphasis is placed on applicants outside employment or work related experience during his/her schooling. This award will be given to students attending a 2- or 4- year college/university and vocational or trade school. Multi-Media Scholarship April 16, 2017 You must be a graduating high school senior who is applying to an accredited college or university, OR a currently enrolled college student with a year or more remaining in your education. Your accepted university must be in the United States of America. You can apply to any or all of the five scholarships available, but there will only be one scholarship awarded per person. No plagiarism will be tolerated. The Captain John W. Spencer Scholarship (Stanford University or University of California) April 1, 2017 A graduating high school senior who resides in Richmond or El Cerrito and plans to attend Stanford University or any UC Campus. Youth On Course February 28, 2017 Senior attending a four-year college or University with a minimum GPA of 3.0. The awards are both need and merit based. Each applicant must be a full-time high school senior with a minimum of 3.0 GPA.
